This exhibit, 296 knots, is of a 10-year-old girl, Reshma, which was removed from her brain after a 10-hour operation. The girl is now healthy after the operation. This operation is also recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records, and in medical language, these knots are called ‘hydrated cysts’.

These cysts in the human brain are due to more contact with pets and birds, eating via unwashed hands, and living with filth. This infection spreads to the brain through worm eggs from the stomach. Migraine attacks, headaches, and paralysis are the main symptoms of this disease, and there can be a danger to life.

This cyst has been gifted to the museum by the museum’s brand ambassador and operation operator neurosurgeon Dr. Prakash Khaitan, to create awareness about cleanliness and precautions.
