It is the place of meditation of Tridev Sage Atri and Mother Anusuiya where Sati Anusuiya by her spiritual power once changed Lord Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh into Infants. It is the pious place where she preached to Mother Sita the lesson of loyalty to her husband. It is also believed that it was the spiritual power of Sati Anusuiya that gave birth to the river Mandakini-Ganga.
