Tara Devi Temple is situated near Shoghi, approx. 20 km from Shimla on the Kalka-Shimla National Highway.

Shoghi is approx. 15 km from Shimla, and from Shoghi there is a left turn that goes to the temple. The distance of the temple from Shoghi is 5.5 km.

The road is well-maintained and vehicles reach up to the temple area. There are 100 + stairs to reach the main temple.

Winter – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
