Tara Devi Temple is situated near Shoghi, approx. 20 km from Shimla on the Kalka-Shimla National Highway.
Shoghi is approx. 15 km from Shimla, and from Shoghi, there is a left turn that goes to the temple. The distance of the temple from Shoghi is 5.5 km.
The road is well-maintained, and vehicles reach up to the temple area. There are 100 + stairs to reach the main temple.
