How much I Paid for Clean Shave in Trimbak?

R. K. Salon (non-air-conditioned shop) is in Trimbak opposite Hotel Tulsi Inn. I visited for a clean shave and maybe a head massage.

Aakash – The barber first applied ‘Beauty Cream’ on the face before going for a clean shave.

‘Beauty Cream’ was a new experience. Never experienced this product before.

In different cities/towns, different ways of barbers to make the beard/moustache area soft before the clean shave. Few apply Dettol mixed with water, few apply cream, and few just sprinkle water.

After ‘Beauty Cream’, water was sprinkled, the face was cleaned and, V-Mat shaving foam was applied for a clean shave.

I prefer Gillette shaving foam for a clean shave but I also welcome any shaving foam because to date I am unable to understand the difference between Gillette, V-Mat, Cimelle, and Brooks. I have experienced all these shaving foams till-date.

Maybe someone has to throw light – The difference.

Recently, in Vapi (Gujarat) near the railway station, the barber (non-air-conditioned shop) applied – V Mat shaving foam. No Animals Fat was written clearly.

The shaving results? – As similar to any other salon.

How much are the charges for a clean shave? – I question Aakash.

Rs. 50 only – He replied.

Cheap, isn’t it? – A thought within.

How much for a head massage? – I question.

Rs. 100/150 depends upon the client – said Aakash.

Anyway, not now. Maybe tomorrow – said I.

All I can say is: The clean shave was as good as in any other barbershop but yes, I enjoyed the face wash/massage.

Maybe the experience of the barber is more important rather than shaving products.

Review: Hotel Tulsi Inn – A Luxury Budget Hotel near Trimbakeshwar Temple

4.3 Google Star rating – Hotel Tulsi Inn is a newly constructed hotel having 22 AC and non-ac rooms with/without Indian/English toilets/balcony in a very good location. Just 2-3 minutes walking from both the Trimbakeshwawr Temple and Kushawarta Tirth.

Even bhojnalaya/restaurants/markets are nearby.

Hotel Tulsi Inn does not have an onsite kitchen facility. Only lodging.

They provide tea services on the ground floor between 6 am – 10 am and from 4 pm – 7 pm.

No room service.

Charges for non-ac rooms with Indian toilets start from Rs.1500 for 2 people.

We stayed there in a non-ac room for 2 nights.

As I was traveling to Trimbakeshwar with my aged parent, they provide us with a non-ac room with an Indian clean toilet on the first floor which was comfortable, spacious, and quiet.

TV is in the room and hot water is in the bathroom.

New construction, all fittings, and faucets are of good quality and in working order. Elevator installation is in progress.

I request to the readers don’t judge this hotel from a few badly posted reviews. The hotel is maintained top-notch. The staff was very humble and supportive. They guided us with the local attractions and provided Auto mobile numbers in case we need for Bramhgiri/Neel parvat visit.

4 stars from my side. Highly recommended. Do not hesitate to book this hotel as it is worth it all the way.

One of the best budget, luxury hotels in Trimbakeshwar.

The only minus point is not so good 4-wheeler parking facility as the lane is narrow though they have a small parking facility on the ground floor. And Wi-Fi availability I am not sure about it because I haven’t used it.

Will book again if I have to travel to Trimbakeshwar again. Check-Out time: 11 am.

Please Note: Single-person stay is not allowed in any hotel in Trimbakeshwar.

How much is 1 kg PEDA Price in Trimbakeshwar?

I am a sweets lover. The moment I saw PEDA in Trimbakeshwar my wish was to have/purchase it.

PEDA is said to have originated in Mathura (Uttar Pradesh). No other dessert can take the place of the divine simplicity of PEDA. It is traditionally made with only regular milk, sugar, and cardamom.

PEDA traces its roots to ancient times when it was mandatory during religious festivals/ceremonies, usually offered as ‘Prasada‘.

At one shop in Trimbakeshwar, we paid 100 rupees (after bargaining) for 250 gm PEDA i.e., Rs. 400 for 1 kg, and at another shop Rs. 70 for 200 gm i.e., 350 rupees for 1 kg.

Rs. 70 PEDA was salty when we tasted it at home. Not good. Anyway, I love having sweet PEDA and will love it forever.

This Guy Sells Amazing Breakfast on Activa in Trimbakeshwar

Suresh Nashta Wala (Trimbakeshwar, Maharashtra, India)

There were not many options available for the early morning breakfast in Trimbakeshwar.

So where do I find the best breakfast in Trimbakeshwar?

I found Suresh below Lokhandwala Dharamshala (nearby Uttar Maha Dwar, Trimbakeshwar Temple) selling HOT, mouth-watering, homemade Upma, Sabudana Khichri, and Pulao on his Honda Activa for Rs. 25 per plate.

I had Upma and Pulao. It was the tastiest, most flavourful breakfast I had in recent times.

How I Reached Trimbakeshwar from Nashik Road Railway Station?

JANSHATABDTI EX (12071) was on time (15:35) at Nashik Road Railway Station. Now the question was: How to reach Trimbakeshwar from Nashik Road Railway Station?

I have read somewhere on the internet that from Nashik Road Railway Station to Trimbakeshwar there is a bus but no bus timings, bus number, and bus fare were mentioned.

I kept walking for 50 meters and found a bus depot just outside Nashik Road Railway Station.

I enquired about the bus number for Trimbakeshwar.

I was told – bus numbers 245 and 245 A both will go to Trimbakeshwar. And the bus fare was Rs. 63 per person.

I was on the bus.

The Ashok Leyland CNG bus took approx. 1 hour 45 minutes to reach Trimbakeshwar from Nashik Road Railway Station.

Though the distance between Nashik Road Railway Station and Trimbakeshwar is 39 km approx. but the reason for the long journey hours was – The bus entered Nashik city bus depot also before heading to Trimbakeshwar and it was a working day – traffic on-road.

While returning from Trimbakeshwar on Sunday the bus took 1 hour 15 minutes only though again it entered Nashik city bus depot.

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed the bus journey. The bus was not crowded and clean too.

The CNG buses from both sides (Nashik Road Railway Station and Trimbakeshwar) start at 5 am and till 9 pm. Yes, you have to hire an auto (Rs. 50) at the Trimbakeshwar CNG bus depot to reach the hotel or temple as the bus depot is a little outside the main town limits.
