Madhupur Junction – We reached via DANAPUR TATA EXP (18184) to attend a friend’s marriage at Sirsia (Giridih).
But the million-dollar question was – How to reach Sirsia (Giridih) from Madhupur Junction?
As per local people, there are two options:
- Wait for the Giridih train
- Auto
We opt for auto. The driver of the auto enhanced our knowledge by saying that the distance between Madhupur Junction and Sirsia is 40/42 km.
Upon Google search, the distance between Madhupur Junction till Sirsia shown was 53 km approx.
We were told that – Sharing auto fare from Madhupur Junction to Sirsia is 80 rupees per person.
We were 6-7 friends. We book the entire auto from Madhupur Junction to Sirsia for Rs. 500.
The journey time from Madhupur Junction to Sirsia took 1 hour and 15 minutes. Road condition – Excellent.
After attending the marriage, the next day we return to Madhupur Junction from Sirsia via booking the entire auto again for Rs. 600.
