Morning hours between 6-7 one can find numerous birds visiting the village.
Good to watch and hear the chirping sounds of birds. And photography of course.

A good time to walk, though the village is small and photos of course.

Kali Urad (black gram) paste is made via Sil Batta (flat stone and cylindrical grinding stone) while adding a little water.
Tadka is prepared in Kaali (black) Kadhai at the beginning finally adding Kali Urad paste into it and water as per requirement and boiling for more than 30 minutes to prepare Ches.
Jhangora – a local cereal is also known as falahari (fruitarian) dish.

Kali Urad dal (black gram) paste is made via Sil Batta (flat stone and cylindrical grinding stone) while adding a little water and finally filling inside dough balls to prepare Ches roti also known as Chunani.
Singori Sweet – Traditional Sweet of Tehri Garhwal – This photo was taken at Sangam Sweets, Sangam Marg in Devprayag (Uttarakhand).
Singori Sweet – Traditional Sweet of Tehri Garhwal as said by the shopkeeper. It is made of Khoya wrapped in ‘Roni’ leaves. Roni leaves are available in the jungles of Uttarakhand.
One of the shopkeeper’s friends further enhanced my knowledge by saying – one-day बासी (stale) Singori sweet is, even more, tastier because it holds the fragrance of Roni leaves.
Singri Sweet is also known as पत्ते वाली मिठाई ।
