Singori Sweet – Traditional Sweet of Tehri Garhwal as said by the shopkeeper. It is made of Khoya wrapped in ‘Roni’ leaves. Roni leaves are available in the jungles of Uttarakhand.

One of the shopkeeper’s friends further enhanced my knowledge by saying – one-day बासी (stale) Singori sweet is, even more, tastier because it holds the fragrance of Roni leaves.

Singri Sweet is also known as पत्ते वाली मिठाई ।
