Dhari Gaon is on the banks of the Alaknanda River near Dhari Devi Temple, 15 km approx, from Srinagar in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. It is said that Pandava, during the journey towards heaven, visited and stayed at this location thus, the village Dhari is also known as Dwapar Ka Dhari Gaon.
