History of Shri Shri Chaushatti Mahant Samaj Mandir (Rangji Ka Nagla):

Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and classmates arrived at Vrindavan about 500 years ago and delivered sermons at a location nowadays known as Chaushat Mahant ke Samaj Badi.

At this location, Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and his 64 disciples ‘panchtatva’ are placed here also known as ‘Asana’. Devotees visit to pay obeisance.

Phalgun Purnima is the time for the festival. Devotees arrive in large numbers and sing bhajans and kirtans.

The location is under Shri Shri Radha Govind Dev Temple, Vrindavan.
