Sadhus Journey from Vrindavan to Vaishno Devi by Bicycle

Sadhus Journey from Vrindavan to Vaishno Devi by Bicycle

10th of March, 2014 afternoon hours I and Ramkrishna were riding Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twinspark motorbike driving towards Barsana to attend Lathmar Holi at Nandgaon (Uttar Pradesh). On the way to Chhata Barsana more, National Highway 2, I saw four sadhus paddling bicycles having display boards with details about their yatra. I request them to stop to know more about the yatra by bicycle.

Three are from Vrindavan (Uttar Pradesh), and one is from Chattarpur (Madhya Pradesh).

One of them started his journey on the 03rd of March, 2014 from Chattarpur, and the other on the 10th of March from Vrindavan and will reach Vaishno Devi in Katra (Jammu & Kashmir) approx. in 12 – 14 days.

800 km approx. the one-way journey from Vrindavan to Katra, I guess.

Mahendra Kumar is from Chattarpur, Madhya Pradesh. Moni Baba, Pagla Baba, and Kishan Das are from Vrindavan (Uttar Pradesh).

I was amazed to know it is their ninth tour by bicycle. On the last eight tours, they with cycles paddled to Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu).

Amazing.

In short, I find these travelers a motivation to travel more.

What say? Best Wishes & Keep traveling.
