Shree Akrur Dham – Akrur Ghat is the place where during the Dwapar period, Shri Krishna–Balram used to visit Mathura. Shri Akrur ji had a glimpse of Krishna’s heavenly form while taking bath in the Yamuna river during the solar eclipse.

In 1515 AD, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, while taking bath at this ghat, had emotions similar to those of Shri Akrur ji.
