Anant Jain Lassi Corner is a 27-year-old (since 1997 opened by Shree Kailash Chand ji) outlet in Ajmer famous for different types of Lassi such as Rabri Lassi, Sugar-Free Rabri Lassi, Plain Lassi, and Salty Lassi.
I with Vinod – the guide from Pushkar reached Anant Jain Lassi Corner (opp. Akbar’s Fort), Naya Bazaar in Ajmer via motorcycle.
Punjabis and Lassi are synonymous. Lassi originated in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent.
Lassi is a refreshing Punjabi traditional drink made of curd, sugar, zero water, and cream as a topping.
If Lassi is served chilled, it is the best way to cool down in scorching summer.
I requested two Lassi.
The service was quick. Served in a Kulhar with added Rabri, Curd, a topping of thick Cream, and Kesar drops.
I had one big Kulhad Lassi and I was full.
It was deliciously creamy, and flavorsome, had awesome essence, yummy, and rejuvenating.
A perfect blend of Rabri, Cream, Curd, Sugar, and no added water.
Great afternoon feast it was.
It is the kind of Lassi one has with a spoon instead of sipping.
Timings: 8:30 am till 9:30 pm (7 days open)
Anant Jain Lassi Corner is well-known, and popular among locals of Ajmer.
If you love traditional beverages, you should try Lassi at Anant Jain Lassi Corner at least once.
Visit Anant Jain Lassi Corner with an empty stomach as it is a meal in itself.
I think a visit to Ajmer cannot be completed without having Kulhar Lassi at Anant Jain Lassi Corner.
Palatable Lassi with varieties available. Lassi starts from Rs 40 and Rs. 80 the maximum depending upon Kulhar size – small/medium/big.
I recommend it is worth trying. Located just opposite Shankar Chaat – another famous one in Ajmer.
Note: Anant is the name of the fourteenth Tirthankara of Jainism.
