A 2,500-year-old Mulberry tree, also known as Kalpavriksha. Adi Shankaracharya sat under the tree and saw the light. There is a Shiv Lingam installed by Adi Shankaracharya worshiped by devotees.

Dev – The guide and I were having a village walk around Joshimath. He stopped and started plucking wild berries and requested to have them. I said No, thank you, but I saw he was enjoying it while chewing.

Dev enhanced my knowledge about wild berries and their name – Hinsar Wild Berries.

During the morning village walk around Joshimath, I saw many Apricot tree with fruits.

Apricot is also known as Khumani or Khubani.

During the Badrinath tour, I stopped at Joshimath, and during morning/evening walks, I saw one plant that is found at most of the houses is Red Roses Plants.
