Clean Shave/Massage in Kolkata – How much I Paid?
The very first thing I did after settling down at Bubble Beds (Backpacker’s Hostel in South Kolkata) was a clean shave & massage.
Grand Salon (air-conditioned) is situated approx. 50 meters from the hostel on the left-hand side.
Subir Das is the owner of the more than 100-year-old salon, started by his grandfather.

And the question – How much do I pay for a clean shave and head massage?
I paid Rs. 40 for Gillette Shaving Foam, a clean shave, and for a head/shoulder/arms/back massage with Emami 7 Oils in One Non-Sticky Hair Oil, I paid Rs. 60.
Out of curiosity, I questioned – How much for hair dye for men?
Kolkata is not expensive – a thought.
