During the Delhi tour, I stayed at goSTOPS – Backpackers Hostel very near to Delhi Gate metro station – Gate No. 3.

I received an email from goSTOPS mentioning the distance between the New Delhi Railway Station and the hostel.

They said that the hostel is 1.5 km from the New Delhi Railway Station and the Tuk Tuk or Auto Rickshaw will charge a maximum of Rs. 50.

Upon reaching the New Delhi Railway Station, I walk towards the Ajmeri Gate side exit instead of the Paharganj side. Auto Rickshaw drivers were already present and the fare they were asking was much more than Rs. 50.

I walk a little on the right-hand side to reach the Prepaid Taxi/Auto Booth on the left-hand side and paid only Rs. 50 for self and the luggage. Received a receipt – The passenger copy.

The traffic police on duty arranged the auto and I reached the hostel comfortably.
