Upon query, I was told it is known as Kaju Badam Ragada. Dry fruits are mixed with milk and churned to serve. It is also known as ‘Sardai/Thandai’.

The photo was taken during the Ghangaria–Govindghat trek. I saw pilgrims as well as Kandi wala plucking fruits and enjoying. I was also offered fruits by Kandi wala but No – Reply. Yes, they say it is very very tasty.
I remember it is known as Hinsar but Kandi wala enhanced knowledge by sharing its common name – Ainselu.

Tatela Shrub & Fruit – A Medicinal Plant for Body Pain
While returning from Ghangaria nearby Govindghat I saw a few pilgrims collecting fruits from a shrub. I question and the reply – it is a medicinal plant and its fruits are first dried up and then beaten to prepare powder to mix it with mustard oil and is applied for body pain.
Really? I was amazed. I question Kandi wala and he confirmed – Yes.
