It is believed that in Jyotisar, Lord Krishna before the Mahabharata, narrated the immortal message of the Gita to Arjuna. That’s why pilgrims and devotees consider themselves to be partakers of virtue after visiting this land of knowledge. The banyan tree located here is considered to be the witness of the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. There is a beautiful lake here and many temples adjacent to its banks. A light and sound program is held every evening on this pilgrimage. It is believed that Jagadguru Shankaracharya also came here.
