Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twinspark motorbike clutch cable broke while touring Govardhan. At a local scooter motorbike repair shop a mechanic solved the issue by replacing the broken cable with a new cable and screw nut which was actually not a Royal Enfield clutch cable but the problem was temporarily solved for Rs. 50 to reach Vrindavan. As I had another RE clutch cable as a spare in the hotel room, the next day again, replacement of the clutch cable was done for a permanent solution by the owner of Sonu Automobiles situated opposite Vrindavan Shodh Sansthan, Raman Reti in Vrindavan. Sonu, upon the query, said he is available 24 hours within a radius of 100 km from Vrindavan for a motorcycle or scooter breakdown.
The problem was solved, but I need another clutch cable as a spare in case if required during tours. The question was – Where is the nearest Royal Enfield Showroom from Vrindavan?
There is no Royal Enfield showroom in Vrindavan, and the only nearest Royal Enfield service center is G. T. Motors near Jaigurudev petrol pump on the National Highway 2 towards Agra on the left-hand side, which is 18 km from Vrindavan.
I purchased a brand-new clutch cable for the Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twinspark motorbike by paying Rs. 105/-. And if this shop was closed, then I guess the only other option would be to reach Agra.
