During a recent visit to attend the Kumbh Mela at Allahabad, I paid Rs. 30 to a Cycle Rickshaw wala for carrying two people with luggage from Allahabad Railway Station to Chandralok Talkies (Marvadi Dharamshala). Chandralok Talkies is the location for a cheap dormitory at Shri Marwari Agrawal Dharamshala, and also at a hotel nearby. The distance is approx. 3.5 km. I was told by a local that the usual fare is between Rs. 20 – 25, but due to Kumbh, it is a little high.
