Baldeo Dauji Temple – The Deity installed by Vajranabha

Baldeo Dauji Temple is situated at Baldeo in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh and is 14 km approx. from Chandrawali.

This location, also known as Baldevpuri. The temple deity is about 483 years old. It was created and installed by Vajranabha, the great-grandson of Lord Krishna, but the deity was discovered by Sant Kalyan Devacharya Ji.

Vajranabha created 12 deities altogether. The temple was made by Shri Gokulnath Ji grandson of Vallabhacharya Ji.

It is said that when Lord Krishna shifted to Dwaraka due to Jarasandha, Balarama was made the King of Braj.

Horanga is celebrated during Holi day within the temple.

To reach the Dauji temple, one has to catch the Sadabad bus.

And finally, we proceed towards Vrindavan.

Vrindavan is approx. 34 km from Dauji temple.
