Shree Akrur Dham – Akrur Ghat is the place where during the Dwapar period, Shri Krishna–Balram used to visit Mathura. Shri Akrur ji had a glimpse of Krishna’s heavenly form while taking a bath in the Yamuna River during the solar eclipse.
In 1515 AD, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, while taking a bath at this ghat, had emotions similar to those of Shri Akrur ji.
