Barsana to Vrindavan – Cheapest Way to Reach

We were returning to Vrindavan after attending Laddu Mar Holi (2023) at Radha Rani Mandir (temple) in Barsana.

We saw three ways to reach Vrindavan from Barsana.

  1. Maruti Van
  2. Auto
  3. AC Electric Bus

Maruti Van was charging Rs. 100, Auto was charging Rs. 80, and AC electric bus fare was Rs. 70 per person.

I preferred AC electric bus if I got the seat (limited) to sit on because it was air-conditioned – The best available option.

AC electric bus started for Vrindavan from Barsana bus depot at 4:35 pm.

5:00 pm bus reached Govardhan and at 5:50 pm the AC electric bus dropped us at Prem Mandir in Vrindavan.

Total Journey Hours from Barsana to Vrindavan via Govardhan: 1 hour & 15 minutes.

Note: During the morning, the total journey hours from Vrindavan to Barsana via Govardhan were 1 hour & 50 minutes. So total journey hours from Vrindavan to Barsana or Barsana to Vrindavan depend on traffic on the road.

Anyway, it was a comfortable, clean & cool journey. Road condition – satisfactory.

Vrindavan to Barsana via Govardhan by AC Electric Bus

We planned to visit Barsana to attend Laddu Mar Holi (2023) at Radha Rani Mandir (temple).

AC electric bus is the best option.

AC electric bus started for Barsana from Vrindavan bus depot at 11:10 am.

Rs. 70 per person the bus fare from Vrindavan to Barsana.

The distance between Vrindavan to Barsana via Govardhan is 49 km.

12:10 noon hours bus reached Govardhan.

Vrindavan to Govardhan distance is 29 km.

1:00 pm the bus reached Barsana.

Total Journey Hours from Vrindavan to Barsana via Govardhan: 1 hour & 50 minutes.

It was a comfortable, clean & cool journey. Road condition – satisfactory.
