Following the salvage and immersion of the Holy Mother Shri Shri Adyashakti on the Basanti Navami and Bejoya Dasami days of the Bengali year 1321 by his Holiness Shri Shri Annada Thakur as a sequel to the divine mandate of the Lord Shri Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa Dev, he was favoured further on the Jhulan Purnima night of the Bengali year 1325 with the divine mandate of raising this Holy Temple. He then founded this holy Institution Adyapeath in the Bengali year 1328 and laid the foundation of this Holy Temple on the Maghi Purnima day of the Bengali year 1334. The work of construction of the temple has been carried on with six breaks to completion; and now the investiture of the three deities (placed on the front middle and rear elevations in marble, octo-metal alloy and marble respectively) is consummated on the Makar Sankranti day of the Bengali year 1373 this 14th day of January 1967.
