As there was almost a rush around a person I stop to know whats happening. A man filling cups with lemon tea for tourist. He is Rajkumar selling lemon tea (nimbu chai) for Rs. 5/- only. I requested for a cup of tea. The tea was so tasty to tongue I requested for one more cup. And then I inquire what ingredients he added to prepare such a tasty tea.
Kali Mirch (black pepper), Jeera (cumin), Jal Jeera and Lavan Bhaskar Churna (Dabur) – He said.
Rajkumar is not the only one. There are few more selling lemon tea from early evening hours till tea container is empty.
Lemon tea is favourite since childhood. Now-a-days at few tourist places or tea stalls I find lemon tea. I don’t know why.
I wish nimbu chai was sold inside train during journey and railway stations as well.
