THE GATE OF THE COLLEGE OF ST. PAUL
This gate, built in stone in 1542, led to the college of ST. Paul. It has an arched opening with a niche at the top and a cross crowning it. On either side of the arch is a column on a plinth of the Corinthian while the arch itself is supported by pilasters of the Doric order. No structural remains of the college is visible now.
