(You can also go straight but maybe have to face traffic jams because of mining trucks. The driver’s advice was to take a right turn after Sahakari Spice Farm which is approx. 1 km more than the other said route, but it is better as there is no traffic And he was correct. I too have experienced traffic jams because of trucks in hundreds when earlier I tried to visit Dudhsagar Waterfalls via motorbike and I had to cancel the tour in the middle of the road journey)
Sahakari Spice Farm, National Highway 4, turn right > Dabal village(14 km)
(Once you take a right turn after Sahakari Spice Farm you have to take a left turn after driving about 2.5 km and another 11 km drive to reach Dabal village)
Dabal village > Collem (20 km)
(Once you reach Dabal village, drive another 2 km drive and turn right. Another 1/2 km and turn right. Now you have reached the Belgaum Highway again i.e., National Highway 4. Another 4.5 km drive and turn left towards Collem)
The new route chosen by the driver was interesting – no trucks and an almost empty road. Lush greenery on both sides of the road – Interesting. This is an inner road I guess connecting Belgaum Highway via passing through Dabal village.
Once you reach Collem there are jeeps available for entry into Dudhsagar Waterfalls.
