It was Sunday afternoon around 2 pm. We decided to visit Status Restaurant in Nariman Point, Mumbai. The moment we arrived we saw a huge crowd already waiting outside. How much time do we have to wait? – I question.

We decided to skip and re-visit again next week.

Next week, again on Sunday, we arrive a little early around 11:30 am. There was no crowd waiting. Inside was almost full. We enter to have our seats. We were three. We order the following items: Paneer Lazeez, Dal Makhani, Tandoori Roti, Butter Tandoori Roti, Masala Papad, Sweet Lassi, Salt Lassi, Butter Milk, Aamras, and Malai Kulfi.

The food was good, especially Dal Makhani and Aamras. At least once one should visit this vegetarian restaurant. Ambiance is good. It’s a Grade I restaurant.

How much does the lunch cost?

Rs. 2050 (with taxes) for three people.
