Adi Shankaracharya ji incarnated with the blessings of Lord Shankar in Taponisht Namboodari Pad Brahma clan in Kaladi village of Kerala state. His Father’s name was Shri Shivguru, and his mother’s name was Aryamba. He took asceticism at the age of eight and established all four monasteries. Traveled all over India. Established four capitals of religion in all four directions. Jyotish Peeth is near Shri Badrinath Dham in the north, Govardhan Peeth is near Jagannath Puri Dham in the east, Sharda Peeth is similar to Dwarka Puri Dham in the west, Sringeri Peeth near Rameshwar Dham in the south.

Dev – The guide and I were having a village walk around Joshimath. He stopped and started plucking wild berries and requested to have them. I said No, thank you, but I saw he was enjoying it while chewing.
