Description of a Boat Journey in Rishikesh

Description of a Boat Journey in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India

Many times while crossing Laxman Jhula from Tehri Garhwal to Pauri Garhwal I saw Speed Boat and had the wish to ride. Finally, I was there (Laxman Jhula, Pauri Garhwal), and upon the query about the cost of the ride I was told there are three types of speed boat rides:

  • Rs. 50/- per person
Speed Boat will cover a distance of 630 meters to and fro.
  • Rs. 1850/- for a family of 4 people
Speed Boat will cover a distance of three km to and fro.
  • Rs. 3200/- for the full boat carrying 12 person
Speed Boat will cover a distance of three km to and fro.

A three km speed boat ride will take you to Pandav Kuan which is approx. one and a half km from Laxman Jhula. It will stop there on the beach for a few minutes for photography and then back towards the starting point.

Thus, above is the description of a boat journey in Rishikesh.

Thank you said I and I remember Chandan – The guide was talking about Pandav Kuan. Yep will ride till Pandav Kaun.
